A stunning ‘separation announcement’ just dropped and it’s making headlines across the country. President Donald Trump has shocked the nation — many people don’t know what to make of it.
“While several top officials head for quarantine, members of the White House have reported that President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will not be kept apart because of the coronavirus,” reported the Washington Examiner.
Trump and Pence have both continued to test negative for COVID-19, even as infections have occurred all around them — specifically with various staff members who come into regular contact with the two leaders.
Currently, according to the Examiner’s report, staffers who have contracted the virus include “a spokeswoman for Pence, a member of Trump’s valet team, and as many as 11 members of the Secret Service.”
Last weekend, Pence chose to quarantine himself and get tested after one of his staff members tested positive, however, following guidance from the White House’s medical team, he was cleared to return to work this week.
Of course, somewhere there are probably liberal talking heads bemoaning that Trump and Pence aren’t separating from each other and continue to work. But that’s why Americans elected the Trump-Pence ticket and we will do it again.
