Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) appeared on CNN to lament that the votes to oust Trump from office don’t appear to be there. “I don’t think there will be the votes to remove him if this does come to an impeachment trial in the Senate,” he said.

Besides, during the same interview, Coons exposed the attitude of nearly all Democrat politicians when it comes to impeachment: They are ignoring the evidence of Trump’s innocence to serve a political agenda.
“I haven’t seen any evidence that gives the president’s side or that explains his conduct as anything other than inappropriate,” said Coons. But he’s smart enough to know this isn’t true — he would just rather lie for Pelosi and Schiff.
