The news about an impending Senate campaign just dropped and the GOP is stunned. Trump’s team is hard at work — no one can stop them.
Appearing on Fox News, Heisman trophy winner Herschel Walker — an ardent supporter of former President Donald Trump — said he was “praying and really considering” a run for the U.S. Senate.
Maria Bartiromo, the host of “Sunday Futures,” mentioned that Trump himself would like Walker to run — prompting her to ask him specifically about the possibility. Let’s hope this happens.
Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) needs a strong opponent in 2022. He is far too liberal for Georgia and Walker would be the perfect choice to face him — Walker loves America and wants to bring people together.
“Herschel Walker believes in God,” he said. “I believe in this country, I believe in the people. And I’m going to fight for the people of Georgia if I run. So, yes, just stay tuned, and I tell you what. It’s going to be exciting.”
While Walker wasn’t ready to make an official announcement, it sounds like he is leaning in the direction of taking on the radical Warnock — a politician that is so far left he is giving Bernie Sanders competition.
