Emails between President Joe Biden’s brother-in-law John Owens and Hunter Biden revealed that Owens asked Biden to get him a business license in Communist China in 2014, when Owens had a telecom business that he wanted to expand to China.
Biden replied to the request from Owens and said he was “working on it–back to you ASAP.” It wasn’t clear whether Biden was being paid or otherwise compensated for obtaining the license.
The emails did not reveal whether the business license was obtained, but the Washington Post said in 2020 that Owens owned “a Delaware-based telemedicine company that markets itself as a solution amid pandemic restrictions, with medical second-opinion operations in Europe and Asia.”
President Biden was asked whether he or his administration had any contact with Owens’ company, Mediguide, since taking office in January and said “no.”
But the emails reveal that there is a definite and unsavory connection between the Biden family and China, and it’s entirely doubtful that the president was uninvolved.
