Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson has refused to say if she believes individuals have natural rights, which is yet another major red flag that should disqualify her from serving on the Supreme Court.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) asked Judge Jackson, “Please explain, in your own words, the theory prevalent among members of the Founding Fathers’ generation that humans possess natural rights that are inherent or inalienable.”

Judge Jackson responded by saying, “The theory that humans possess inherent or inalienable rights is reflected in the Declaration of Independence, which states: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Senator Cruz didn’t fall for Judge Jackson’s evasion and pressed her by asking, “Do you hold a position on whether individuals possess natural rights, yes or no?”

Judge Jackson responded by saying, “I do not hold a position on whether individuals possess natural rights.”

Judge Jackson has done nothing but refuse to take positions since being nominated by President Biden, and that tells Americans everything they need to know. Judge Jackson is not fit to serve on any court in the United States.
