The nation is in disbelief. News is spreading across the country about a ‘removal’ notice involving Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA). This announcement has turned the political world on its head.
Shockingly, Schiff made the claim on MSNBC this week that had the Senate removed President Donald Trump, we wouldn’t be experiencing COVID-19 deaths on some days “equivalent of the number of people we lost on 9/11.”
Speaking with anti-Trump reporter Lawrence O’Donnell, Schiff started by projecting himself and Democrats as the righteous ones during the impeachment trial — painting Trump as a villain who needed to be ousted.
“Well, we certainly told the senators that he was not going to change, and there was no way to constrain him,” said Schiff. Shortly thereafter, he dropped the offensive and absurd comparison to the September 11, 2001, terror attacks.
“We said a lot, but little did we know just how great the casualties would be,” said Schiff. “Some days we lose the equivalent of the number of people we lost on 9/11,” he continued, somehow with a straight face.
You heard that right, folks. One of America’s highest-ranking politicians — chairman of the powerful House Intelligence Committee — just invoked 9/11 to score political points while people are dying. Schiff is one sick man.
