White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responded to the accusations against embattled Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam in an interview with Sean Hannity.
Gov. Northam found himself in a predicament following comments endorsing late-term “abortions” up to the time of birth. Although Democrat backlash for those comments was underwhelming, the revelation of a college-era blackface incident erupted and sunk him for good.
Sarah Sanders weighed in on the scandal, saying in regards to both events that “what is happening in Virginia may be one of the most outrageous things that we have seen in a long time.”
Although the spotlight is on Northam’s college-era indiscretions, Sarah Sanders reminded the American people not forget about Northam’s pro-infanticide comments, saying “I can’t think of anything more abhorrent or grotesque.”
