Radio legend Rush Limbaugh’s secret just came out. Millions of people across the nation are shocked — this is why he was beloved by so many.
“When I was on ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ Rush Limbaugh made a donation of $100,000 dollars to St Jude Children’s Hospital to support them,” said country singer John Rich. But there’s even more to it.
According to Rich, Limbaugh would only agree to support Rich’s mission and make the generous donation “under the condition that he remained anonymous.” This is exactly the person Limbaugh was in private.
The truth is, Limbaugh loved to donate to causes anonymous — he did not want to receive public credit for his charitable work. There is no telling how many millions of dollars he donated over the years.
Tragically, Limbaugh recently passed away at the age 0f 70 after a brave battle with lung cancer. But the legacy he left will endure. His beloved wife, Kathryn, talked about how he “was an extraordinary man, a gentle giant.”
She said the broadcaster was “brilliant, quick-witted, genuinely kind, extremely generous, passionate, courageous, and the hardest working person I know.” Truly, Limbaugh is irreplaceable. He’s the greatest of all time.
