Conservative commentator Dan Bongino seems to be the heir to talk show radio legend Rush Limbaugh as Bongino is slated to take over several of Limbaugh’s former timeslots.
The Dan Bongino Show will begin airing around the nation on May 24th and will hopefully help to fill the hole that Limbaugh left behind.
Cumulus Media’s Westwood One issued a press release saying, “The Dan Bongino Show will tackle the hot political issues, debunking both liberal and Republican establishment rhetoric. As a former Secret Service agent and NYPD officer, Bongino is uniquely positioned to provide commentary and analysis that directly questions the philosophical underpinnings of both the Left and Big Government Republicans.”
Westwood One president Suzanne Grimes heartily endorsed Bongino saying, “Dan is passionate and relatable, with a natural ability to connect with his audience. Dan has been on a meteoric rise since his podcast launched in 2019, and we look forward to watching his star continue to soar.”
Rush Limbaugh’s passing has left a serious vacuum in the conservative media world and Bongino has an incredible opportunity to set himself up as a significant figure in conservative politics.
Bongino himself seems ready to tackle this challenge saying, “I’m excited to embrace the immense power of radio to connect with my listeners live for three hours every day. This is an incredible privilege, and I pledge to honor the trailblazing work of those who came before me.”
