Talk show host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday that Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and other Democrats were exhibiting “outrageous and egregious denials of reality” in denying that violent riots were taking place in American cities like Portland and New York.
The comments came in response to Nadler telling reporters that rioting in Portland was “a myth that is being spread only in Washington D.C.”
The violence in Portland has been widely reported and televised, and White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany played footage of the rioting during a press briefing last week.
“There aren’t any peaceful protests,” Limbaugh said in response to other reports that called the riots “mostly peaceful.” “Of course there are riots, there is property damage, there is endless looting — in Portland, there [has been more than] 55 nights in a row of it.”
Limbaugh has always been a straight shooter and once again, he’s right on the money with this one.
