Radio host Rush Limbaugh urged President Donald Trump to hold rallies in Georgia to support GOP Senate runoff candidates David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, both incumbents in the race, on his show Monday.
“Those two Senate races, Perdue, Loeffler, they’re really crucial, and I think Trump is still the Republican Party,” Limbaugh said. “He’s still MAGA. He could still go down there and do some rallies and secure those two Senate seats.”
Limbaugh also noted that Hollywood celebrities are rushing to donate to the Democrat challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.
The runoffs will be held January 5 across the state, and it’s anyone’s guess which way they will go because of the intense pressure being brought to bear on Georgia voters and the potential for fraud because of high numbers of mail-in ballots expected to be used for voting.
Democrat wins in the two races would give that party control of both houses of Congress and the presidency if Joe Biden keeps his current lead in that race.
