An FBI shocker just dropped about former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani — a reversal has stunned the nation. People can’t believe it.
According to Breitbart News, NBC News, The New York Times, and The Washington Post, “reported Giuliani had received a defensive briefing from the FBI warning him he was the target of a Russian influence campaign.” But the three far-left outlets have now been forced to reverse course.
The Post’s retraction, for example, admitted that the “earlier version” of its story claimed that One American News (OAN) and Giuliani were both “warned by the FBI” about being “the target of a Russian influence operation.”
“This version has been corrected to remove assertions that OAN and Giuliani received the warnings,” concluded the retraction. The New York Times and NBC News released similar statements.
Laughably, NBC News even admitted that their original report “was based on a source familiar with the matter.” As Breitbart’s John Nolte pointed out, that means just “one source.”
Yes, one source with zero cross-checking whatsoever before publishing the story. The liberal news station noted in its retraction that a “second source” disputed the allegation. What a clown show.
