Four White House staffers in the press office left after Press Secretary Jen Psaki departed several weeks ago for a fat MSNBC contract.
White House director of rapid response communications Michael Gwin left for the Treasury Department; Michael Kikukawa, described as the “engine of the press shop,” also left to work with the Treasury Department.
Assistant press secretary Vedant Patel went to the State Department, and chief of staff for the White House press office Amanda Finney went to the communications wing of the Department of Energy.
All of these departures may be leading to instability in the Biden press office.
In any case, it doesn’t seem to show that Biden’s administration is a very good place to work.
