A resignation announcement just shocked the White House. President Donald Trump’s cabinet is completely stunned — they never expected this to happen. Liberals have crossed the line.
“Secretary Esper, you should resign this morning if you were used as a political plot,” demanded MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, referring to Defense Secretary Mark Esper. As usual, Scarborough is off the rails.
In response to questions about President Donald Trump’s visit to St. John’s Church earlier this week — in which protesters were cleared out beforehand — Esper said he thought it was “to see some damage.”
Scarborough, seizing on this opportunity, has now implied that Esper was misled about their trip, which ended at the church for Trump to take a photograph with a Bible. Trump has defended this decision.
“It was powerful and important to send a message that the rioters, the looters, the anarchists, they will not prevail — that burning churches are not what America is about,” said Trump.
As for Scarborough, he also won’t be satisfied with the facts of that situation — and it is doubtful he has even sought them out. He has even claimed tear gas was used. This is not true, as The Federalist pointed out.
