A recount ‘reversal’ was just confirmed and the Republican Party has emerged victorious. Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are stunned — they never expected this to happen at the eleventh hour.
Following a recount in a hotly-contested Iowa congressional race, the Republican candidate, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, has defeated Democrat Tina Hart by six votes to replace the retiring Rep. David Loebsack, also a Democrat.
This represents yet another flipped seat for the GOP, making Pelosi’s House majority even thinner going into January. Miller-Meeks, however, is ready to get started and anticipated her upcoming certification to make it official.
“While the race is extraordinarily close, I am proud to have won this contest and look forward to being certified as the winner by the state’s Executive Council on Monday,” said Miller-Meeks in a statement.
“It is the honor of a lifetime to be elected to serve the people of eastern and southern Iowa,” she continued. You can almost hear Pelosi’s teeth grinding as she slowly loses one Democrat after another.
She will have an even more difficult time enacting the radical proposals put forth by a hypothetical Biden-Harris administration, including raising taxes, passing gun control, enacting Green New Deal-inspired policies, and expanding taxpayer-funded abortion.
