BREAKING: President Apologizes For Massacre – China STUNNED

The president just apologized for a devastating massacre and China is stunned. They never expected this to happen and millions of people are in shock.

“Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador traveled Monday to Torreón to ask for forgiveness for the May 1911 slaughter of over 300 Chinese” in the early 1900s, reported Breitbart News.

According to Breitbart, this is part of Obrador’s campaign “to make amends for some of the darker chapters in Mexico’s history,” leading to the ceremony he recently held in Torreón.

Historically, it was in this town where the worst treatment occurred against Chinese people, who came to Mexico “to work as laborers to expand the nation’s railroads,” continued Breibart.

Obrador called out the discrimination and racism, which, in many cases, resulted in violence — including Chinese being “mutilated or hung from telegraph poles.” He is hoping this acknowledgment will heal the historical wound.

But there could also be an economic reason. According to the same report, Mexico and China have become even closer partners, with China now being “Mexico’s second largest trading partner.”
