Chinese investigators are looking for answers after a China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 crashed in a mountainous area, leaving no survivors.
The plane lost altitude rapidly while traveling at 29,000 feet, and there was no apparent reason for the crash.
The airline has grounded all Boeing 737-800s while the investigation continues.
There are nearly 1200 of the planes in the Chinese fleet, and their grounding will significantly impact travel in China.
Chinese dictator Xi Jinping has personally ordered investigators to go “all-out” in the investigation, which is unusual.
