After making the mistake of refusing to give additional support to Capitol Police during the January 6 Capitol breach, the Pentagon has approved National Guard deployment for a weekend rally in support of the January 6 rioters.
Look Ahead America is holding the rally, but the police want to prevent a repeat of January 6, when hundreds of people entered the Capitol in volation of the law.
100 National Guard members will go to D.C. over the weekend, providing support for Capitol Police and monitoring entry points so that only qualified people can come into the area or the building.
Temporary fencing was put back up after having been taken down in July.
Law enforcement and officials are sending a strong message to those who would want to make trouble in the Capitol, warning them it will not go the same way this time.
