A member of Vice President Mike Pence’s staff has tested positive for coronavirus. This scary development comes after it was revealed President Trump’s valet also tested positive.
The Vice President and Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Joni Ernst (R-IA) were due to travel to Iowa but were delayed by the news.
While the situation has drastically improved, coronavirus is still a threat and our leaders need to take precautions to ensure they aren’t infected.
Both President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have been tested since the news of those around them testing positive. Both have tested negative.
This is the second staffer working for Pence that has tested positive for coronavirus. The White House uses tests that can reveal accurate results in 15 minutes.
Because of the risks and the frequency of these events those working around the President and Vice President are tested regularly. So far the precautions are working and our leadership remains safe.
