Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi just said she’s done. Her fellow colleagues in Congress are completely stunned — they never expected this announcement, especially right before a crucial election.
“I have said I am proud to support Joe Biden for president,” said Pelosi on MSNBC this week. “I believe him when he says it didn’t happen,” she continued. Clearly, Pelosi is finished considering the allegations against Biden.
She is referring, of course, to the sexual assault allegations brought by Tara Reade, one of Biden’s former Senate aides. Even though there’s some evidence to suggest credibility, Democrat insiders are sticking together on this one.
But their hypocrisy is also revealed. Apparently, their mantra of believing all women, parroting the #MeToo movement, only applies to allegations against Republicans like Donald Trump and Brett Kavanaugh.
In fact, during the MSNBC interview, Pelosi threw an even bigger stake into the ground. “But I’m not going to answer this question again,” she said, in response to a question about whether Biden’s scandal was a “closed issue.”
“Well, it is for me,” she responded. And that tells us everything we need to know. Pelosi and other Democrats are purely political creatures — they do not have consistent values and are only out for power at any cost.
