BREAKING: Pelosi REPLACEMENT Announcement – The Gig Is Up

House Democrats may not hold the majority after the 2020 election. A Republican is hoping to replace House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)

Liz Cheney (R-WY) has passed up an opportunity to run for a Senate seat and is instead gunning for House Speaker.

With many expecting the Republican party to retake the House in next year’s election, the question of who would lead looms large.

If Cheney wants to become the first female Republican House leader she will have serious competition. House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is the top contender for the position should Republicans win the House.

Cheney told the Washington Examiner, “I really love the House. The choice between staying here in House leadership, being somebody who can help to lead the fight against Speaker [Nancy] Pelosi, against socialism, against what the Democrats are trying to do to weaken the country, versus the alternative of running for being a freshman senator, for me, it was very clear that I could have a much bigger impact here.”

Regardless of who leads the House, the goal for Republicans is to retake the majority in the House.
