Representative Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) lashed out at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for postponing a vote on the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Representative Gottheimer issued a statement saying, “It’s deeply regrettable that Speaker Pelosi breached her firm, public commitment to Members of Congress and the American people to hold a vote and to pass the once-in-a-century bipartisan infrastructure bill on or before September 27th.”
Pelosi had promised that the landmark infrastructure bill would be passed by September 27th, a promise that aged poorly.
