Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi just gave proof and the White House is stunned. She is trying to pull a fast one on the American people, but she won’t be able to get away with it anymore.
Pelosi said that “we need a fourth bipartisan bill” to tackle the economic fallout from the coronavirus, saying that while “we have a good model” in the bill recently signed by Trump, “it’s not enough.”
She has proven that liberals are always wanting more, and even she eluded to some of it on CNBC. Next, Pelosi reportedly wants more of the same, but also some items that have nothing to do with relief from COVID-19.
According to the Washington Examiner, she wants to expand broadband access — which is more of a state-level issue — and also make infrastructure part of it. Does this sound familiar to anyone else?
Former President Barack Obama’s stimulus plan following the 2008 recession, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), spent nearly $1 trillion on “public investments,” predominately infrastructure projects.
However, it is debatable how much good the ARRA did in the long run since the money went to governments and temporary jobs — and now Pelosi wants to do it again. But Trump is doing just fine without her help.
