WinRed, the Republicans’ online fundraising arm, raised $559 million in 2021, breaking more records amid falling poll numbers for Democrats.
$209.3 million of the funds are from first-time donors, with $63.4 million raised in the last quarter.
“Following a record year of fundraising, WinRed is hitting the ground running in 2022,” WinRed President Gerrit Lansing said in a statement.
Republicans are looking to retake majorities in the House and Senate, and pundits think they have a very good chance of doing so.
Certainly, they are raising the kind of money that will allow them to run a very robust campaign to do just that.
