Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has been put on notice. The socialist lawmaker is in trouble, and an effort is mounting to remove her from office. This is the end of the line for her.
According to reports, two veterans of the U.S. military ended up walking out of a meeting with Ocasio-Cortez after it was clear they weren’t getting anywhere. It’s time for the Bronx to decide if they want to replace her or tolerate her neglect.
One of the veterans, Silvio Mazzella, said, “She was in office five months, and this is the first time she came to our community.”
Silvio is a Vietnam veteran and the treasurer for Bronx Community Board 11. Concerned about graffiti in the neighborhood and mail delivery issues, the board reached out to Ocasio-Cortez and, apparently, received no help in return.
“I’ll look into it,” Ocasio-Cortez reportedly said. This is often political speak for “I’ll stall you as long as I can and hope you’ll go away.”
She is more concerned about “beating up on” President Trump than doing her actual job, remarked Mazzella further. Another veteran, Anthony Vitaliano, said the congresswoman “neglects local issues.”
