A legendary NFL quarterback just came out for President Donald Trump and millions of fans across the nation are stunned. This could push Trump over the top at the ballot box on November 3.
Former quarterback Jay Cutler — who spent most of his career with the Chicago Bears — has publicly endorsed Trump in a response to golf legend Jack Nicklaus’ endorsement of the president’s re-election bid.
“SIGN ME UP,” said Cutler on Instagram, sharing Nicklaus’ post. He also commented on Nicklaus’ post: “Never a doubt.” But these two sports icons aren’t the only ones. Someone who was inducted into the NFL’s Hall of Fame has weighed in, too.
Brett Favre is a household name. He played most of his career with the Green Bay Packers, winning a Super Bowl in the process. He also had a successful run with the Minnesota Vikings — nearly making it to another Super Bowl.
“My Vote is for what makes this country great, freedom of speech & religion, 2nd Amnd, hard working tax paying citizens, police & military,” tweeted Favre. “In this election, we have freedom of choice, which all should respect.”
“For me & these principles, my Vote is for @RealDonaldTrump,” he concluded while encouraging all Americans to vote. He likely just helped Trump in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Cutler and Nicklaus’ support will speak to people as well.
