Donald Trump rocked the nation with a huge announcement at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Sunday.
He announced his intention to sign an executive order that will protect free speech on college campuses across the nation.
This decision came in the wake of the assault on Hayden Williams, a conservative activist that was attacked for wearing a MAGA hat on the UC Berkeley campus.
The mainstream media ignored the incident, but President Trump did not. Trump honored Williams by inviting him on stage during the speech.
President Trump shocked Democrats by declaring that he will be “very soon signing an executive order requiring colleges and universities to support free speech if they want federal resources.”
UC Berkeley has been notoriously hostile to Republicans and Conservatives, but Trump struck fear into their hearts, saying that “If they want our dollars and we give it to them by the billions they’ve gotta allow people like Hayden and many other great young people and old people to speak.”
