Melania Trump has been under the attack of a vicious conspiracy theory. Notorious Trump critic and ‘The View’ cohost Joy Behar was caught spread rumors about the First Lady during the show on Monday.
‘The View’ ran a headline titled “FAKE MELANIA CONSPIRACIES RETURN: The internet is buzzing again with theories that first lady Melania Trump is using an impostor to stand in for her — the co-hosts investigate.”
The rumors began circulating during Donald and Melania Trump’s visit to disaster-stricken Alabama. The Trumps were photographed paying their respects to the victims of the devastating tornado.
According to the Daily Caller, Behar said that the reason the rumor exists is that “there is an element of truth to the idea that she [Melania] doesn’t want to spend time with him [Trump].”
Melania Trump’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham blasted ‘The View’ hosts for the disgusting attack on Melania’s loyalty to her husband.
Grisham slammed the star’s comments, declaring that “it’s sad that a group of women spend so much time attacking another woman, whose only goal is to help children, but yesterday’s episode went beyond the petty mean girl spirit that we’ve grown accustomed to.”
