Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) has signed a bill that will prevent social media companies from silencing Americans for their viewpoints.
Corporations censoring American thought is a threat to our nation, and Texas is leading the charge on changing the grim future we are facing.
The new law, HB 20, will prevent companies from deplatforming Americans based on “the viewpoint of the user or another person.”
This bill will be crucial to fighting back against Big Tech censorship. However, the bill will also put a stop to so-called “cancel culture.”
Many Americans have found themselves locked out of crucial services after running afoul of cancel culture. Under HB 20, that will no longer be acceptable.
Hopefully, other Republican states will take similar measures and put an end to Big Tech’s reign of terror.
