Dr. Anthony Fauci has been extremely quiet since his emails were exposed to the American public. Fauci’s emails have revealed several serious issues that Fauci must explain to the American people, ideally in front of Congress.
Fauci’s emails have effectively confirmed that Fauci was involved in funding gain-of-function research. Fauci acknowledged in his emails that there was a risk of a global pandemic, yet he believed the benefits outweighed the risks.
What’s worse is Fauci’s consistent denials that run counter to the evidence revealed in his own emails.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) noted that “He [Fauci] gets an email or notification of what’s going on in Wuhan, and he immediately sends something to his assistant an email saying we must meet immediately, read this article and in the subject line, in the article it says “gain of function research in Wuhan.” Well he still denies, to this day, he was funding it.”
Dr. Fauci has been looked to by a large portion of Americans for guidance and advice on how to handle the coronavirus crisis. The fact that Fauci never once disclosed his own involvement and interests in the matter is borderline criminal.
Dr. Fauci should be testifying in front of Congress to set the record straight. Fauci should consider himself lucky that he isn’t already facing a serious criminal investigation over his lies.
