Former President Donald Trump is still rocking and rolling as a recent poll revealed that Trump is far more popular than Sen. Mitch McConnell in 2022 midterm swing states.
“In the swing states of Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, Trump leads McConnell by large double digits,” reports Breitbart News.
“Trump’s overwhelming popularity compared to McConnell’s comes as the two spar over midterm races. McConnell has supported many of the candidates that Trump has opposed, including Democrat-allied Rep. Liz Cheney and Sen. Lisa Murkowski,” reports Breitbart News.
“McConnell’s failing GOP popularity is a reflection of his leadership,” according to Breitbart News.
“Under McConnell’s tenure, the national debt has risen by nearly $20 billion, illegal immigration has continued, and real wages for American workers have not grown since the 1970s. Obamacare was enacted in 2010, big banks were bailed out in 2008, and social media companies have silenced individuals without repercussions,” reports Breitbart News.
“In October, McConnell caved to Democrats’ demands and raised the debt ceiling, enabling Democrats to forward President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better agenda,” reported Breitbart News.
“As a result, McConnell may lose his leadership position. Several Republican Senate candidates have vocally spoken against McConnell’s reelection to Senate GOP leader. Trump has reportedly asked Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) to challenge McConnell for the position after the midterms,” reports Breitbart News.
