Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has a plan to deal with Big Tech after Republicans regain the House Majority in the 2022 midterms, and he shared it with Breitbart News on Sunday.
According to Jordan, the judiciary committee is looking at three general avenues to break the monopoly on speech that Big Tech has had for the last several election cycles.
“First, get rid of the liability protection they have under Section 230,” Jordan said. “Step two, expedite a path to get antitrust actions to the Supreme Court.”
Jordan also mentioned a “private right of action” for citizens to take when they have evidence that their social media posts are being censored.
“We think those three things empower We the People,” he said.
