Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) dropped a bomb on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) by predicting that Republicans will win “two dozen seats or more” in next year’s midterm elections.
During an interview on Fox News, Representative Mace outlined the situation that Pelosi and the Democrat Party are facing next year.
Representative Mace said, “One of the reasons that inflation is going to get significantly worse is because of the greater spending we have through Build Back Better. And through other COVID-19 relief program spending we have done in the past. Taxes are going to go up. That will also affect inflation. And I believe, until Republicans are in the majority in 2022 — and I believe that will happen. It’ll be significant. We will win at least two dozen seats or more.”
Inflation alone will likely get Democrats killed on the ballot as angry Americans suffering from rising costs won’t be keen to vote blue.
Republicans already have the odds in their favor before Democrat policies are taken into consideration. The party out of power tends to do well in midterm elections.
If Republicans perform as well as Representative Mace believes they will, Republicans will have all the tools they need to finally push Nancy Pelosi into retirement.
