Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is completely done and Democrats are shocked. They never expected this to happen — and votes are still being counted. This is a stunning development.
“The number of pro-life women in the U.S. House will double as a result of the 2020 elections,” reported Breitbart News. In fact, much to Pelosi’s dismay, “11 pro-life incumbent women have won reelection and 13 new pro-life women were elected to the House.”
So, not only is Pelosi’s House majority dwindling — with several races not even called yet — but she’ll have two dozen pro-life, Republican women to contend with as she tries to push radical, pro-abortion policies.
Pelosi will have the help of a hypothetical President Joe Biden as well, who has pledged to repeal the Hyde Amendment. Since the late 1970s, this amendment has been an agreed-upon provision to prevent federal funds from subsidizing most abortions.
Specifically, the amendment impacts taxpayer dollars funneled into Medicaid the most. However, the Democratic Party has been radicalized like never before, and an attempt will be made to repeal this amendment in the near future.
But Pelosi will have to go through pro-life women first, something she certainly wasn’t expected. In fact, there is a slim chance that Democrats could only have a razor-thin majority once all the races are called. Thank God.
