Pelosi’s majority is falling to pieces as Democrats are leaving or retiring in droves.
“Democrat Rep. Peter Welch launched his Senate campaign on Monday to replace retiring Sen. Patrick Leahy, abandoning the Democrats in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s dwindling majority,” reported Breitbart News.
“Welch’s Senate bid makes him the seventeenth Democrat leaving the House for retirement or running for another office,” according to Breitbart News.
“I’m running for the United States Senate to work for you, for Vermont, for our country, and for our imperiled democracy,” Welch tweeted.
“Welch has been Vermont’s at-large congressional district representative since 2007 and has been involved in politics for nearly 30 years,” reported Breitbart News.
“In a roughly two-minute campaign video, he spoke about all the issues that have been ‘filibustered by the Mitch McConnell Republicans in the Senate,’ including ‘voting rights,’ ‘Medicare for All,’ ‘Green New Deal,’ ‘lowering prescription drug costs,’ ‘reproductive justice,’ and ‘racial and economic justice,'” reported Breitbart News.
