Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is going down. A growing number of Democrats have said ‘no more’ and are defecting.
“Democrats’ partisan efforts to overturn Iowa’s certified Second Congressional District election have backfired after numerous Democrats have come out against the plan,” reported Breitbart News.
Appearing on the Skullduggery podcast, Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) said that she cannot support Pelosi’s effort to overturn the election of Rep. Marrianette Miller-Meeks (R-IA).
“I’m sorry, I cannot support overturning an election, especially given everything that’s gone on and what we’ve been hearing from the Republican side of the aisle,” said Slotkin.
Slotkin, of course, also used this as an opportunity to make a dig at many Republicans for their concerns related to the 2020 presidential election, but at least she can see through Pelosi’s game.
Miller-Meeks defeated the Democrat incumbent, Rita Hart, by “just six votes.” However, Iowa was able to formally certify the election — and a win is a win, regardless of the vote margin.
