Republican National Committee Chairperson Ronna McDaniel told Breitbart News Daily host Alex Marlow that she doubted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) could pass either infrastructure bill currently under consideration in her chamber.
McDaniel said that the bills would make the current inflation problem worse, which is something the country can’t afford. She said that both bills have some Democrat opposition and that both could be in jeopardy because of that opposition, if from different places.
“I don’t think Nancy Pelosi is going to take any of this up, frankly. The $1.2 trillion isn’t progressive enough, and I think the $3.5 trillion will have pushback from moderate Democrats who are in trouble ahead of the midterms,” she said.
It would be nice if McDaniel is right about the bills not passing, but something tells me Pelosi will once again stifle any opposition and get ’em done, since neither one needs any more Republican support to pass.
Just more ammunition for the GOP in the midterms to regain control of the legislature and prevent any more of these obscene spending bills.
