House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) reign in the House of Representatives is likely over as Democrat strategists nationwide are seeing the beginnings of a devastating electoral defeat in next year’s midterm elections.
Democrat strategists have been working overtime since Democrat Terry McAuliffe was routed in Virginia’s gubernatorial race.
Politico reported that, “Less than a year ahead of midterm elections, in which even Democrats widely expect they will lose the House and, possibly, the Senate, the party is confronting an identity crisis. It isn’t just Biden’s cratering public approval ratings, inflation, or the precedent that the party in power typically loses seats in a president’s first midterm.”
Democrats have attempted to reverse their sliding ratings by pointing to the recent passage of President Biden’s trillion-dollar infrastructure bill.
The situation is so bad that one anonymous Democrat advisor commented that “Too late. We’re f—ed.”
All signs are pointing towards a total defeat for Democrats in 2022. Nancy Pelosi will once again oversee a loss of power for the Democrat Party, and there will be a lot of pressure on her to retire.
