Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was just booted out. She is out of the picture now, and President Donald Trump is smiling. She never expected him to make this move.
“I have instructed my representatives to stop negotiating until after the election when, immediately after I win, we will pass a major Stimulus Bill that focuses on hardworking Americans and Small Business,” tweeted Trump.
Ultimately, Trump put an end to the current “negotiations” on a second COVID-19 relief bill because Pelosi has not been dealing honestly — he booted her from the process entirely.
“We made a very generous offer of $1.6 Trillion Dollars and, as usual, she is not negotiating in good faith,” Trump continued. Pelosi’s proposal was an absurd $2.4 trillion full of liberal goodies.
Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media were quick to pounce on Trump, of course, but he just made a brilliant move by hitting the reset button and challenging Pelosi to come back to the table.
In fact, Trump later tweeted that he would be for “a Stand Alone Bill for Stimulus Checks ($1,200)” and pledged that they “will go out to our great people IMMEDIATELY.” Your move, Pelosi.
