House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s attempts to blame President Trump for the Capitol’s occupation on January 6th are coming to an end.
With Joe Biden sworn in as the 46th President, Pelosi’s fixation with President Trump is losing power, and Democrat attempts to attack President Trump are losing the people’s support.
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is instead looking at Nancy Pelosi and her role in the Capitol riots.
During an interview with Fox New’s “America reports,” on Thursday, Graham said, “The question that needs to be asked of Speaker Pelosi, regardless of the reason people came to the Capitol, how could an unarmed mob, 20 years after 9/11, occupy the House and the Senate? That, to me, needs to be talked about a lot, not just during impeachment but afterwards. How could it be, 20 years after 9/11, a group of unarmed people could literally take over the Capitol during a joint session of Congress? I’d like to see what she says about that.”
Perhaps the effort of the Democrat party to impeach President Trump serves two purposes. Keeping President Trump from running for office again while distracting from the Capitol authorities’ failures in securing the Capitol.
Could Democrats have deliberately engineered a situation that allowed a riot to break out and thus give them a reason to impeach President Trump? It is a stretch, but Senator Graham certainly seems to have questions for Pelosi.
