Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) just confirmed rumors about the future — even her own party is stunned. She’s going to request these words.
“I feel very confident that the Democrats will hold the majority after the next election,” said Pelosi on CBS News. Now, isn’t this being a little presumptuous, Madam Speaker?
Let’s take stock of the precarious situation she finds herself in. The 2020 election whittled her House majority down to a razor-thin margin of only five seats with GOP pick-ups she didn’t expect.
Republicans are now poised to retire Pelosi as Speaker permanently in the 2022 midterm elections — especially if Democrats continue down the disastrous path to socialist ruin.
She is trying to project the opposite, however. During the same interview, Pelosi said that all she wants to do is support “the blueprint that was put forth by the president last night to meet the needs of the American people.”
Well, ma’am, the American people themselves probably have a different feeling about President Joe Biden’s “blueprint” and you’re going to find that out the hard way in 2022.
