Reps. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and Adam Schiff (D-CA) were just debunked on national television. Their anti-Trump antics have been exposed before millions.
According to some Democrats, who spoke anonymously to CNN this week, the impeachment push by House leadership is going to have “political consequences,” especially for “our moderate members.”
“For our leadership not to engage with moderates at all to either talk about how they are going to message or what they are going to put in it, seems to be a giant oversight,” said one moderate Democrat.
This member was specifically addressing the articles of impeachment, which Pelosi, Nadler, and Schiff have guarded with extreme secrecy. Moderate members aren’t being told what’s in the actual document.
But this shouldn’t surprise anyone. At this point, anti-Trump Democrats are running the show — and they don’t care if it costs them control of the House to get their point across. And the truth is it likely will.
For the swing districts that Democrats picked up in 2016, the hazard couldn’t be more apparent. Trump supporters are coming out in droves in 2020 and will return the House to Republicans.
