A murder announcement just completely rocked the White House. The facts are in, and America is completely stunned by this news. The calls for justice are escalating now.
“An autopsy commissioned for George Floyd’s family found that Floyd died of asphyxiation due to neck and back compression when a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck,” reported Breitbart News.
The officer, who knelt on Floyd’s neck for approximately eight minutes, ignored Floyd’s chilling words as he slowly and painfully suffocated. “I can’t breathe,” he repeatedly said. Americans became immediately outraged.
In fact, nearly 80% of Americans supported the arrest of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. He was eventually arrested and charged with third-degree murder, but many speculate the charge could be upgraded now.
Former Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC), a former prosecutor himself, appeared on Fox News recently and said Chauvin should be charged with first-degree murder, explaining that Floyd pleading for his life was enough evidence.
“So my question … is if you have a man with your knee on his neck and he is telling you, ‘you’re killing me, I cannot breathe. You’re killing me.’ How long’s it take for premeditation to manifest itself?” said Gowdy to Maria Bartiromo.
