Vice President Mike Pence just made his move. President Donald Trump is smiling — he couldn’t be more pleased with this positive development.
“Vice President Mike Pence and President Donald Trump met Monday to discuss the Capitol Hill riots and agreed on a few key issues, according to administration sources,” reported Breitbart News.
According to Breitbart’s Charlie Spiering, based upon an account from a Trump administration official, the two leaders had a “good conversation.” For now, it seems Trump and Pence have mended their relationship.
In fact, conservative reporter Jack Posobiec tweeted, “Pence told Trump he ‘never once’ considered 25th Amendment.” They reportedly “had long talk” and came out of the Oval Office “laughing” together.
The relationship between the president and vice president has been tested like never before; they had not spoken since the Capitol riot and Trump implying beforehand that Pence could overturn the election results.
But the two are united as patriots against a snap impeachment — which has set a terrible precedent — and the Democrat-controlled Senate potentially taking up a trial after Trump has left office. Trump and Pence have been a good team.
