First Lady Melania Trump called out the mainstream media and Democrats for their “hatred” of her husband, his administration and their supporters during a campaign appearance in Atglen, Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
As the coronavirus pandemic numbers increased in the U.S. and across the world, Democrats were only focused on trying to get President Donald Trump out of office, “wasting America taxpayer dollars in a sham impeachment,” Trump said. “They cared more about removing our elected president.”
The “sham” she continued, was “led by opposition, and their display of hatred is on display to this day.”
She mocked Democrat opponent Joe Biden for saying he could have done a better job fighting the pandemic, pointing to his “36 years in Congress and eight years in the vice presidency” as evidence that his comments are untrue.
“This election isn’t just about the next year. It’s about the next four years and beyond,” she concluded. “We can’t and shouldn’t go backward.”
