Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) predictably declared on Tuesday that the coronavirus is “worsening” and of course, it’s all President Donald Trump’s fault.
“Republicans in Congress, how can you remain silent? You’re complicit by ignoring the lack of leadership during this crisis!” she said after claiming that there were “spikes” of the virus all over the country.
In contrast to Waters’ panic mode, Trump has been asymptomatic for days, is now working in the Oval Office again and has just been cleared by his doctor to go out in public on Saturday.
Trump said Americans are “learning to live with” the virus, which in “most populations” is less deadly than the flu.
The World Health Organization estimated this week that about 10% of the world’s population has had the coronavirus, which is over 20 times higher than confirmed cases but would make the death rate similar to seasonal influenza if it is true.
