Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) was just completely busted on live television. Her political career could be over — she can’t recover from this embarrassment.
Appearing on MNSBC, Waters claimed that she has never promoted aggression or violence against Republicans. Laughably, she even went so as to defend a video of herself doing just that several months ago.
Referring to members of the Trump administration, Waters encouraged supporters at a rally to “create a crowd, and you push back on them. You tell them that they’re not welcome anymore anywhere!”
She even specifically mentioned that liberals should “show up wherever we have to show up” and harass people “in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station.”
Waters claimed that her comments don’t come close to comparing to anything President Donald Trump has said — because Trump “was out to destroy democracy if he could not be president.”
She even accused Trump of inviting his supporters “to take over the Capitol.” This is false, of course. Mere hours earlier, Trump said people should protest “peacefully and patriotically.” That is hardly inciting a riot. Waters, on the other hand, has encouraged violent behavior.
