Former college and NFL football coach Lou Holtz said during his RNC speech on Wednesday that he thinks Democrats have abandoned the idea of serving others and the country put forth by former Democrat President John F. Kennedy when he was inaugurated in 1961.
Instead of asking “not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country,” Holtz said that they are only looking at what they can get from the country.
He pointed to “people today like politicians, professors, protesters, and of course, President Trump’s naysayers in the media, who like to blame others for problems.”
Holtz also criticized Biden and Harris’s strident support for abortion and said they were Catholics-in-name only” who have “abandoned innocent lives.”
“President Trump loves our country and our great people,” Holtz concluded. “Trust, commitment, and love. With President Trump, we have a president we can trust, who works hard in making America greater, and genuinely cares about people. If I apply this test to Joe Biden, I can’t say yes to any of these three questions.”
