There is huge, huge news coming out of California. The GOP will love it, and the liberal waterworks are beginning already.
Just a short time after winning a court case to even allow his name on the recall election ballot in the first place, a poll shows that Larry Elder is actually leading the race.
The way the recall election will work, is voters will be asked “Should Newsom be recalled?” If more than half of voters think that Newsom SHOULD be recalled, the replacement would come from the winner of the second question on the ballot, “Who should replace him?”
In this poll, 16% of people selected Elder as the person who should replace Newsom if Newsom is recalled.
Elder won by a whopping ten percentage points in the survey of 1,000 voters, with Jon Cox and Kevin Faulconer tied for second with 6 percent.
