BREAKING: Mark Zuckerberg Gets Bad News – Federal Move Shocks Facebook

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg just received some bad news. This move by the federal government has shocked the powerful social media platform.

“The FTC and 48 states are set to launch a legal assault on Facebook over claims of antitrust violations,” reported Breitbart News. “The lawsuits seek to break up Mark Zuckerberg’s social media empire.”

According to Breitbart, both lawsuits “aim to force Facebook to break up its empire which includes messaging service WhatsApp and photo-sharing app Instagram.” This is a stunning development.

If the lawsuits are successful, it will be one of the biggest corporate break-up stories since Microsoft in 1998 — and there appears to be a lot of confidence that Facebook won’t have a choice but to separate from major assets.

The push is also bipartisan, with Republican and Democrat attorneys general (spanning 48 states) agreeing that it is time for Facebook — given the company’s massive power to shape public opinion and habits — to face accountability.

“Facebook currently has 2.74 billion users worldwide and disclosed in July 2019 that the FTC was investigating it for alleged antitrust violations,” continued Breitbart’s report.
